About The Blood Connection

Our team is comprised of over 800 employees that includes, but is not limited to, professionals in the fields of healthcare, marketing, customer support, information technology, facilities engineering, logistics, human resources, and quality assurance. Together, we provide blood products and services to over 125 hospitals located primarily throughout SC, NC, GA, and VA. Blood is donated at 18 fixed site centers and on 50 blood mobiles and is subsequently tested and/or processed at our three main hub locations in SC and NC. Our products and services are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and we are accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB). Each unit of blood that is donated has the potential to save up to three patients’ lives.
