When you visit the job board, you'll first select your school system (Greenville County Schools, Legacy Charter, etc.). This helps us show you the right opportunities and application process.

Apply
For GCS students, the "Apply Now" button redirects to the official Greenville County Schools application portal. For charter and partner school students, a short application form is completed directly on our site.
Interview Day
Qualified applicants are invited to Interview Day, a coordinated event where you meet employer representatives in a professional setting. Come prepared!
Get Hired
After Interview Day, employers extend offers to the students they'd like to hire. If selected, you'll begin your internship and gain real-world experience in your chosen field.
Am I Eligible?
LaunchGVL is available to eligible high school students attending participating Greenville-area schools. Your school's Work-Based Learning Coordinator confirms who is eligible, so start with them.

Two Application Paths
Greenville County Schools
GCS students click "Apply Now" and are redirected to the official GCS internship application portal. The link is updated each semester.
Charter & Partner Schools
Students from Legacy Charter, Brashier, and other partner schools complete a short application form directly on our website.

Polish Your Resume
You will upload one when you apply. Even if this is your first job, school projects, volunteer work and extracurriculars all count, and your school's Work-Based Learning Coordinator can help you put it together.
Research the Company
Visit each business profile to learn about the company before you apply or interview. Show you've done your homework.
Prepare for Interviews
