About This Position

Duties include all aspects of childcare including diaper changes, snack time (keeping in mind food allergies), age-appropriate play indoors and out, and soothing a fussy or sad child. Workers are responsible to communicating with me promptly if a child cannot be soothed, appears sick or has a fever. There is a First Aid Kit and thermometer available in the toddler classroom. They must be able to answer parent's questions and help them feel safe and confident about the nursery environment. They create a fun and welcoming space for our families by being professional, engaging and pleasant. Before leaving complete simple clean-up and disinfect with wipes or spray. Sweep the floor with a broom to remove crumbs from snacks, or other debris. Our goal is to leave the rooms cleaner than we find them.
