About This Position

Interns will assist with daily academic instruction for K-5 students, helping with reading, writing, math, and homework. You'll have opportunities to plan academic and social-emotional activities, work one-on-one or in small groups, and contribute your own skills to enrichment programs. Interns will learn to implement lesson plans, work with diverse children and families, and grow through personal development and teamwork.

Requirements

Must have reliable transportation and be able to work on a consistent basis. Student must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Helpful Skills & Coursework

Interest and/or experience working in non-profit organizations,High level of interest in education and working with children is preferred,Experience and understanding of diverse populations is preferred,Strong project management skills, Ability to take initiative

Schedule Details

Start time between 2:45pm - 3pm, end time 5:30pm. Days: 3 to 4 days a week; Monday - Friday
