About This Position

Greenville County Animal Care is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated intern to assist with the coordination of incoming in-kind donations, including pet food, toys, treats, and other supplies. This role plays a critical part in ensuring donated items are received, organized, and distributed efficiently to support animals in our care and community outreach programs. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inventory, and organize in-kind donations from the public. Communicate with donors when needed (drop-offs, thank-you notes, etc.) Coordinate with staff to identify current supply needs and distribute items accordingly. Maintain clean and orderly donation storage areas Additional Duties: This intern may also be asked to assist with other areas of the Volunteer Program, such as helping with volunteer onboarding, communication, data entry, or event planning, as needs arise.
